SVW Transparency app

From the 1st of July 2022, the Transparency Act will enter into force in Norway and may entail a number of new obligations for larger enterprises.

The law is intended to promote enterprises respect for basic human rights and decent working conditions and may impose on companies both a duty to provide information and a duty to carry out due diligence assessments. Do you want to know if your business is affected by the Transparency Act? Answer a handful of questions in the Transparency app and get an initial assessment.

The Transparency app has been developed by law firm Simonsen Vogt Wiig AS and our compliance experts to help companies understand whether they are subject to the requirements that follow from the Act.

Who the app is for

The app can be used by both Norwegian and foreign companies to assess whether the Transparency Act applies to their business.

Simonsen Vogt Wiig offers taxonomy assesments

Along with increasing focus on sustainable development, regulations are also gaining momentum. The EU’s taxonomy for sustainable finance will entail a completely new ESG classification system that determines whether various business activities are defined as sustainable or not.

Our experts assist with clarifications related to the new taxonomy and help companies in their efforts to adapt to the new sustainability criteria.
